In a bold business decision that was made tonight by the whole DSA team I’ve decided to start cursing the item descriptons now too and not just in the descriptions. Because fuck money. So I wanna have or make up a story for this little guy but I truly have no idea whats going on. It’s similar to other advertising horseshoes I’ve owned from circa 1920 or so, but the explicitness somehow feels older to me. But what I want to really focus on is the good luck context. Horseshoe, standard. Good luck horseshoe, standard. So how do we apply that to the fuckers fucking? Good luck in achieving this goal? Good luck in performing once this inevitability occurs? Good luck with the consequences? Good luck not catching feelings? Good luck not getting a disease? Good luck not getting preggers? This was cast which suggests it could have been replicated but I really like to think that some foundry worker was having a rough go of things and at the end of the day through together a few bits a pieces and came up with this masterpiece for himself. Any time things felt tough, stress was getting the most of him, this token of a brighter future was there for tangible comfort. We’ve all been their homie, thank you for your service, and thank you for this reminder.
