Not sure of the origin or purpose of this lil guy but it feels asian to me based on the red lacquer. Finely turned wood cup with excellent red surface on a small cast iron base. Pens or pencils feel like the most obvious use but I am not one to judge. Trust me I am no one to judge. I would never, can you imagine? Ha. Put one singular large marble in there for all I care. Cigarettes? Sure why not, this baby could hold like 8-14, easy. That’s more than enough if you ask me, but again, the judgement, so don’t ask me. The blood of your enemies? It’s red and fancy looking so absolutely. I fully assume that’s half of the coloration. The blood of your loved ones? Ok, sure, creep. Go off.
